At Healing Africa Ministries (HAM), we believe that the combination of faith and mental health support can bring hope and resilience to individuals and communities. Our goal is to tackle the distinct challenges of trauma, depression, and anxiety, creating a healing sanctuary founded on faith. In 2019, we established HAM (formerly Ambassador Biblical Counseling and Care Services, Inc.) to address the effects of persecution on Christians in Nigeria through Gospel-centered Biblical Counseling and Soul Care training.
Through our training department, HAM has equipped over 2,000 people in 10 countries with the skills to provide Biblical soul care, encouraging churches to use the Bible as a foundation for counsel and care. We believe the local church, with the Word of God, the Spirit of God, and the people of God, is the most effective place for transformational change. By God’s grace, we continue to make a lasting impact on mental health and well-being, fostering resilience in communities worldwide.
